    Sad news, sad news indeed. I'll likely migrate to ASUS in favour of the G53 series laptops anyway. That's not to say my M11x hasn't been good to me over the past two years.

    Mine too I think we went off topic maybe. I was talking about throwing my M11x off a roof as a joke in case I need a warranty claim haha.

    Reconsider, I came from Asus you will be paying out of the ear for hardware you can get elsewhere for half the price. They make you pay for the looks more than Alienware at least Alienware give you the hardware to go with it.

    Again your referring to desktops on a notebook forum....

    Asus notebooks are totally different to the motherboards they produce they are well made and good quality but they house mid range hardware and are very overpriced just because of their marketing and stealth styling. Their RMA and warranty service is the worst I have used and you only have to read some of the RMA horror stories to see how bad they are, and RMA's are a regular thing with their laptops.

    I owned the G73JH at release and suffered first hand for 2 years going through all the fixes and problems from beginning to end.

    dude, my brother has an asus gaming laptop i bought him, i was refering to asus having good quality parts, does it matter what part i bought from them? i was using motherboards as an EXAMPLE. i was talking about them as a whole. why are you so against desktops anyway?

    btw, iv RMA'd 5 things from them, and i got nothing but professionals on the phone, and got my stuff replaced without a problem.

    You'll get an M14X if no M11X-R3's are available both new or refurbished.

    @ajslay
    You're lucky. They (asus) kept my laptop for 6 weeks and no one knew where it was or if it was being fixed. Never again.
