I uninstalled the Intel and nVidia drivers, ran driver sweeper in safe mode, restarted, installed the intel driver in the first post of this topic and now I've got a black screen

Installed and so far it seems to be working. Tested it out with Minecraft and the Nvidia GPU succesfully switched on and then off when I closed it. I'll let you know if I run into any bugs, but for the moment, it's working great.

Thank you very much for your excellent work.

Got it working. For some reason when I installed these drivers a HDMI audio device is disabled in device manager. I curiously enabled it and all hell broke loose.

You Sir are a God among men. I can't wait to try this when I get home from work.

Mostly I'm excited about the intel driver update. Hopefully it will resolve the issue with flash video while overclocked.

This is an answer I also need. I need this computer for work, so BSoDs are bad.

Except on weekends. Maybe I'll install it this Friday afternoon....

No lockups or failures yet. Initial sluggishness gone after reboot and been ok since. Can always remove and install OEM drivers

Been using it for gaming and general purpose computing, and also for work.
    Never encountered any BSODs.

@GNandGS happy that you havent encountered lock-ups or failures

@smsmasters When was your R1 purchased and what BIOS version are you using? Also are you from a Hybrid driver before? Or from discrete?

Using it for about a day now, no issues to report yet. Idles/downclocks when nVidia graphics are unnecessary, and starts up properly for most games. I say most because I had to make an exception in the Control Panel for at least two games to start up with nVidia versus Intel.

Definitely loving it, even if there's no performance difference between it and the older version (haven't noticed any difference so far).
