Re: M11x R1 Hybrid/Optimus Driver
maybe someone can mod the M11x R1 Bios to have
Integrated/Discrete/Switchable like the Lenovo
for the bios to-mod, please use the already +0.5v 3D from my host, adding the integrated/discrete [personally I don't care for the switchable or optimus, I want to select from BIOS for Integrated or Discrete]:
BIOS Mod GPU 3D 0.95v m11x R1.zip
PS: maybe raise the fan temp threshold so the fan doesn't start that often when oc enabled and discrete graphics, more because of the gt335m [using oc disabled and integrated graphics the fan doesn't start unless working, with docs/music/movies the fan is silent]Last edited by vladichimescu; 14th May 2012 at 05:56 AM.

Re: M11x R1 Hybrid/Optimus Driver
I've had all 3 M11x Models and finally back to the R1 since I gave my brother my R3 after I built my desktop. Thanks so much guys for keeping this machine going and maximizing its potential. <3

Re: M11x R1 Hybrid/Optimus Driver
No, I jumped straight into 295. Was having problems with the Dell driver for some time now and thought I will try my luck on this one

Only tested with one game so far. PES 2013, I would say I've gained a few FPS with the new driver.
Haven't check on the battery consumption, but my 2.5 years old battery is pretty much worn out anyway

Re: M11x R1 Hybrid/Optimus Driver
I'm about 30% batt wear and get approx 2hr run time if that helps any. If no real gains over 285 I doubt I make the effort.
Thanks for update!

Re: M11x R1 Hybrid/Optimus Driver
According to the self-test button at the back of m11x, my battery wear is about 80%

But SIW said it is 39%
IMO, there's no need for you to change when you're not having any problems with the 285. I was just desperate to try these out since I had problems with the Dell driver.
I love not having to close apps before switching gfx
No problemo! I am just another m11x owner hoping for this kind of community to keep our little beast going!
EDIT: Ok.. Just had a test run on the battery, it lasted.. 45 mins
Think my battery is dying faster than I thought.. Before changing to this driver I had about 2 hours I thinkLast edited by caledary11; 5th November 2012 at 06:07 PM.

Re: M11x R1 Hybrid/Optimus Driver
After getting some hardware not detected issues I wanted to reinstall drivers. Moved to 295s above (maybe solved problem, still testing) without issue. Same batt run time as expected between 285 on page 1

Re: M11x R1 Hybrid/Optimus Driver
Hey guys does anyone know any other links to the 2 download links posted on page 1? I know they've been up for a quite a while but they appear to be down now. When I click the hybrid/optimus file appears to be deleted or moved. I can find the Intel Display driver using a search though. Any ideas?
Thanks!
