How come your prices are so high?

The I5-4gig RAM-750gb HDD + killer I got from Alienware was only £698.99 and I didnt even use a voucher.

Have dell put their prices up? Nearly £1200 for the I7 is huge! That is $2000 shortly before a new revision is released,...

If you have enough money to get the I7 + an SSD fine but if you are replacing the SSD with the I7 in the price that is madness and is going to slow you down rather than speed you up for a lot more money.

Who told you this a Dell Sales Agent? You will only see 2.8ghz when 1 core is active it will clock down if 2 are active.

The I5 is not slow it is extremely fast for a netbook and you will see no difference at all between the I5 and i7 if you intend to game and surf the only reason you would need more speed is if you intend to use it for video editing or the like.

For £300 more it is total joke and Dell are laughing charging that much get the I5 and get yourself an SSD the thing that is going to slow you down is the HDD not the processor.

I can run Skyrim at native res with all settings at high with AA + AF and a smooth 35fps. Battlefield 3 runs but you will need to stick to mostly medium settings the other game you mentioned wont have any problems at all.

Well, I got my R3 today. No bluetooth (figured) . Only problem I see is one stuck pixel that is hardly noticeable. I'll be getting an Intel 6320 for bluetooth rather than dealing with the Dell module. I can't complain for under $900 shipped.

A stuck pixel? Oh man that cannot do, I tried to squeeze one of them out of my new clevo when it arrived and even on that huge screen I couldn't stand it after a few weeks it is always catching your eye when you move in a game because it does not change.

Get onto Dell and get a new screen sent out.
