I haven't started. I better do that now.

Anyway, that is an insane overclock, probably the highest I've seen! You are very lucky
Tassdar898's overclock is the largest seen on an R2.

so far I have completed a 3dmark06 with 615/1500/948 I think I can push it a little further but I will try that another day. My score was 9020ish I will take a screen shot when I find my absolute maximum and post it on the forums.

P.S. temps did not go past 77C
Great, we now have over 9000 points. Think we can push it to 10k?

There is an airflow bottleneck on the M11x. Use my bottlecap trick to improve temps, which is just getting 4 bottlecaps and placing them at the feet of the M11x.

    Also, you guys are awesome.
My temperatures before the mod: 70C

My temperatures after the mod: 73C

After the bottlecap trick with VBIOS mod: 65C

I'm happy with the results I'm getting so far. I broken through the 1150-1200mhz shader instability wall on my crappy 335.

This does not help us M11x bods, but on my ATI desktop card, using GPU-Z you can 'read' and save the current GPU BIOS to disk.

This is located as a GPU icon on the BIOS Version line of GPU-Z

For me this doesn't appear possible on the M11x with either Intel or Nvidia GT 335M GPU...not supported. Bit of useless information for someone.

So... what do we think about the M11xR1 now we have a successful M11xR2 GPU BIOS?

Update - Sorry, DavyGT I see you're already on the mark. Always one (probably several) steps ahead of me... Doh

Update 2 - Didn't Skoop9 (whatever the tag is - Snowmobile man) get some insane clock on an M11xR1.

probably a no go on the 10k unless we can do 1V and if I had an i7 =). Right now my RAM is the bottleneck for my CPU OC... if I get new RAM I might be able to push 9.5k

Have you done the RAM SPD timing mod? 1V is a different beast altogether.

The reason why the BIOS can't be read by GPUZ is because it's not located on the card but inside the system BIOS.

The R1 is abit harder as it requires more guesswork and is not directly supported by nibitor but that is offset by the R2 BIOS mod experience. I hope.

This is so awesome. Before my overclock was stable at 525/1270/920.

Currently I just tested 550/1330/930 and it works perfectly. Gonna keep on going

Tassadar, do you have an i5 or i7? Im running an i5@170 mhz (I need some better OC memory lol). Highest score I got so far was 8350.

This is all so thrilling. I've been stuck at 520 / 840 / 1240 ... I wonder how high I'll be able to push core and shaders now.

The battery life hit shouldn't be existent unless 3D gaming. Someone needs to measure the before and after with a kill-a-watt and BatteryBar.

ajslay, can you revise on the Phoenix BIOS recovery method and practice it? I have some things for you to test.
I have another mod, I want to see what happens if we flash the R2 BIOS onto the R1. Would it enable Optimus?
