Re: R2 335m nvidia bios flashing to increase voltage
I'll be honest. This makes me nervous. Obviously there's always risk. But this would presumably void the warranty, right? And what's the benefit supposed to be? Just higher GPU clocks with less fear of overheating?
This is all academic to me, I have the R1 and I only play older games and am a wuss.

Re: R2 335m nvidia bios flashing to increase voltage
It's possible to mod the R1 BIOS using the GT330M profile.
Warranty is a grey area ATM. The result are higher clocks with more fear of overheating as it will run hotter. This mod is intended for enthusiasts looking for the last drop of performance on their M11x, so older games aren't going to benefit much.
To everybody, the BIOS will be released today but it should be noted I haven't found out how to create the Crisis disk so if the flash fails, you will have a brick.

Re: R2 335m nvidia bios flashing to increase voltage
The time is now.
I'll make a new thread with a guide later. Right now, R1 looks like it can do this too but with a higher risk of bricking because of using the GT330M profile.
Here is the modded BIOS. Run InsydeFlash and click OK. I haven't tested it, so as a disclaimer, if it bricks it is not my fault as I did not force you to flash it.
