    Alienware M11xR2 A04 System BIOS
    Release Date: 1/19/2011

    Fixes and Enhancements:
    Modify GPIO setting to correct DRAM reset

    Install Instructions:

    DOS
    1. Execute M11xr2a04.exe
    2. Follow instructions

    Windows
    1. Execute Win_M11xr2a04.exe
    2. Follow Instructions

    If anyone else has this error. You must go to the folder to run it. Don't run it straight out of the unzip.

    You have to go into the driver folder than run the .exe
    M11x r2 i7 640um Nvidia GeForce gt 335m 500gb hdd 4gb ram. Saitek x52-HP2010i-Razer Death Adder-cyborg keyboard

    Man, I miss erawneila. He used to be such a great source of info about this sort of thing. I'm not sure what Modify GPIO setting to correct DRAM reset really means.

    GPIO = General Purpose Input/Output

    There may have been an issue with the DRAM timing... Not sure either. Has anyone run some memory benches and compared to A03 BIOS?

    I guess I won't be needing to install this one as there is no difference in the fan table..
    When I upgrade to A03, I just hear fan spinning all the time.
    I'll just stay with A02, so sad.
