Re: How to pinmod and overclock the M11x R1 (ICS only, sorry SLG not supported)
dang, well if it can only be set at boot then unless you can find a way to mod the bios i dont think anything else will work out.

Re: How to pinmod and overclock the M11x R1 (ICS only, sorry SLG not supported)
I'll take this kit. It's cheaper and stable at a higher speed, at CAS6.

Yea, thats the kit I have that I showed in the screenshots. Once I get some nerve up, (worried I might cut the wrong pin) I'll try out some benching with it.

Re: How to pinmod and overclock the M11x R1 (ICS only, sorry SLG not supported)
thats what i was thinking... seeing as how DR650SE has the same kit and got his m11x to boot with it, i think its our best shot. plus the heat spreaders will help with the drop in timings to cas6
wondering if i should order my kit now so its here when my M11x arrives.
do you have both versions of the PLLs at your disposal over there or are both of your M11xs using the ICS PLL?M14x R2 - I7-3610QM - 8Gb GSkill 1600 (9-9-9-28) - GT 650M 2Gb

Re: How to pinmod and overclock the M11x R1 (ICS only, sorry SLG not supported)
They'll deny it and call it their own design. Can you ask for older and newer versions of the datasheet instead? The one I got has Preliminary under every page. We're looking for a datasheet that confirms TME is PIN 14, PCI2. Thank you for contacting Silego for the original datasheet.

Re: How to pinmod and overclock the M11x R1 (ICS only, sorry SLG not supported)
you may have to give them more info about the application thats being used.
at least thats what the lady i emailed with told me. she said i would need to contact the manufacture of the product that the chip was used in to get more info.
logically i don't see why the PLLs would be any different in the way the pins are laid out. maybe internal differences but if the pin layout was any different it would call for a different motherboard revision. which just doesn't make sence to go thru all that engineering just for one different chip.
i think dell/alienware would more likely have a company produce something similar to the first chip to fit the exact physical/functioning specs.M14x R2 - I7-3610QM - 8Gb GSkill 1600 (9-9-9-28) - GT 650M 2Gb
