Area-51 m17x upgrade options

Hey guys, looking at buying an Area-51 m17x barebones system and just wondering a) what the best upgrade options were for each component, and b) where to source them from other than eBay or NBR.

CPU - List of supported models? As far as I know the best is the X9000 and the T8100 & T9300 fit, what else is there? Will a T2300 fit in there? What's the difference between SLAQG/SLAYY?

RAM - Is DDR2 PC5300 the highest supported?

GPU - It comes with a 9800m GT, should i be looking at getting another one or something else? What is the best supported GPU? Does SLI scaling work well with these or would it be a waste?

Cooling - Barebones does not come with heatsinks or fans for the CPU/GPU, does anyone have specific part numbers or something?

Battery & Charger - I'm assuming you can't get originals anymore, what specifications do i need to be looking for?

Not looking for a high-end gaming machine, i know it's outdated, i'm just picking this up as a project to work on and as a spare laptop. Just first gotta find out how much it's gonna cost me all-up first so i know if it's worthwhile or not :/

Really? Nobody has so much as a list of compatible CPU's or GPU's?

I was counting on responses to decide if i was going to get it or not, so i knew if there was any sort of support or help i could get while building it. Evidently there is none, so i guess i won't get it.

Are you asking for help on a M17 or m17x like your title says? This forum does not cover the m17x which is perhaps why you got no responses. It covers the m15x-r1 / M17 and anything older.
