Re: m15x mini-MyHive
Triple posting to avoid clutter.
Update -
I've released an XP Driver and Software bundle for those who would prefer not to download the Complete Driver and Software Bundle. This bundle is slightly smaller (approximately 500MB smaller) than the former and has been compacted to fit the needs of those using XP on their m15x. You can find the bundles by clicking here.
Unfortunately, a bundle for Vista and Vista x64 will not be released until sometime next week-- sorry Vista users!
Well! Time for bed. I'm exhausted.

Yeah. The shipping was only $2 too. I would have assumed it'd arrive sooner but I suppose that's what you get when you pay for normal USPS shipping, huh.

Re: m15x mini-MyHive
thx for adding the MD5's Oceanus.
I'd rep you if I could but I need to spread it around some more first apparently.
Way cool that you are making driver packages. Can't wait for the Vistx64 one to arrive.Alienware m15x | 1440x900 | 2.5Ghz | 8800M GTX | 320 gb HD | 3 gb ram

Re: m15x mini-MyHive
I just noticed that I get diferent temperature readings between ThermoFan (80C) and RivaTuner (92 C). These are the max temperatures for each software at the time the fans kick into high speed. Which one is more accurate ? And if it is Riva Tuner, what can I do to reduce the temp ? I have the X30 BIOS now would the X32 help ?

Re: m15x mini-MyHive
x36 i believe is the most current and has been updated to run the fans more frequent and longer.
cant help you on the other aside from that i have read on postings in the forums that each program takes the readings at different locations, thus the difference in results. (but i could be completely off my rocker too)

Re: m15x mini-MyHive
I was wondering if the BIOS updates only help with the CPU or if the GPU is affected too. I would prefer using the x32 over the x36 cos it seemes to be the most stable and reduces keyboard lag as well which I have been suffering from recently.
Can anyone comment on the disparity between temp readings ?
