Re: m15x mini-MyHive
I believe OSD should be installed before any of the Video Drivers otherwise you will not be able to switch out of your various display videocard options.

Re: m15x mini-MyHive
OK sorry, I didn't mean to step on any toes i was just speaking from personal experience. I didn't install OSD until after the 2 video card drivers were installed and I was unable to utilize fn+f7. To resolve this problem/situation I had to remove my Cmos battery.
and also the OSD listed on the windows 7 (Alienware Forums) is out dated as I had to go with OSD from MyHive, so you might want to fix that too if you work over there.

Re: m15x mini-MyHive
No offense taken.
Although I cannot see how you managed to install both drivers beforehand. When I tried this it always returns an error when installing the inactive video card driver.

Re: m15x mini-MyHive
no, you first install the nvidia, then you turn on your pc holding down right mouse button that forces the intel card. And then you get stuck on INtel.

Re: m15x mini-MyHive
Hi -- does anybody know of a way to slow down the CPU fan even after downgrading the BIOS to x32? Even when doing light surfing, the fan usually kicks on after about 3 minutes.

Re: m15x mini-MyHive
Hi guys. I have a major problem with my new m15x (yeah m15x not M15x).
AlienFX does not work.
I tried to activate it under Win7 x86 / Win7 x64 / Win XP x86 (don't have Win Vista here) but everytime it tells me that the connection to the controller failed.
I installed all drivers in the correct order.
I have tried to shut it down. Remove the AC and batteries. Press start button. Reconnect it and boot it up.
I tried to uninstall all USB-Devices and reboot.
I followed the instructions in this thread, but still NO lights.
Any tipps?
