    Not true. Killer 1103 does not have bluetooth.

    It is prolly switched off. In BIOS set the "wireless switch" button to work with bluetooth only. In this way your WLAN card will be on all the time and you will be able to switch bluetooth on and off.

    ^ Do that, then boot into windows, then press the button switching the bluetooth on, and THEN check then device manager.

    if you replaced the intel bluetooth wifi combo card for the wireless killer you don't have bluetooth any more you need to get this Dell Alienware Laptops M18x wireless 375 G9M5X Bluetooth Module card + cable | eBay

    The problem is i don't know if it just was replaced with intel 2230 combo module with killer 1103... Does M18x R2 has separate BT module like on M17x R3?

    4 screws - remove the base panel and you will see the card there. You will soon be able to tell which one you have!

    When i received it - i immediately took it apart. Yes, there was killer 1103. But on my M17x R3 i replaced intel card with Killer 1103 but still had a bluetooth..

    I am afraid is going to be a little more difficult the bluetooth module should be behind the left speaker he need to remove the palmrest to see it

    if the company who sell the machine to him upgrade to wireless killer he don't have bluetooth

    best way to know is looking at the original specs on dell website with the service tag

    They can't say that even if i provide a Service code.
