Works perfectly fine on my Panasonic 58VT25 and Sony XBR4... Chances are there is an issue with the cable.

I second the cable. Either that or you plugged it into the HDMI Input port on your M18x by mistake lol.

Sometimes you think you plugged the cable right, but in fact, it is almost in the right place. Check first the integrity of the cable, then that you are connecting on the left hdmi port and when doing so, you hear a sound from Windows and generally your screen will blink... And don't forget to set your TV to get signal from the HDMI # that you connected it. Sometimes TVs have like 3 or 4 HDMIs. Look for the right one.

    Good luck.

Did you get this system from the outlet recently? Just asking because I had my eye on it.

When I press Fn + F7 to change the on-board video ( Intel HD graphic ), the HDMI output can work perfect ( Both TV & M18X monitor show 1920x1080 )..
But when I change back to AMD 6990M video, the HDMI has no funtion again...... Does my AMD 6990M card impair?

Check your video drivers for the 6990m
Go HERE and download the vid. driver for your system then the extra 2 files for full functionality.

If that does not resolve your issue, then you will need to report back and we can go from there

I have resolved it.....The reason led to my hdmi output dysfunction is that the 6990M video card is not inserted completely.......After removing the 6990M video card and then inserting it again, everything is OK. Now, my M18X hdmi output work perfect!!

But it is a hard work to remove-insert the 6990M video card.

    Glad you got it working.

We have had a rash of "hdmi not working" threads lately and I would bet dollars to donuts that most are cable related... but knowing that yours was fixed by re-inserting the vid cards is good to know.

... I'm not sure if I want to go through all the trouble of pulling my laptop apart and reinserting the stupid cards just to get HDMI to work. I got a Mini DP to HDMI converter and it works. Maybe it's my HDMI cable...
