Aspire 5672 - Unknown Device in Device Manager
I have done a clean install on my 5672 and for some reason there is an "Unknown Device" in the device manager. It doesn't give any clues as to what it is for, and so far, the notebook seems to be functioning properly. Has anybody else seen this problem? Thanks!

Re: Aspire 5672 - Unknown Device in Device Manager
I've compared it to my device manages and you don't seem to miss anything =/
Are you sure you don't have any devices plugged in? Or maybe some kind of virtual drives?
I'm not 100% sure but I tought I had to install some kind of drivers for the VirtualCloneCD drives as well.
You could think of something similar ^^Acer Aspire 5672WLMi
Intel Core Duo 1.66GHz (Upgrading to a C2D soon!)
ATI Mobility Radeon x1600 - 64MB VRAM - 512MB HyperMemory
2GB Apacer DDRII-RAM 667MHz

Re: Aspire 5672 - Unknown Device in Device Manager
the unknown device is for the acer CIR driver (infared). Go install the CIR driver off of acer's site to resolve this, I had the same problem when I wrote my review and was hunting around for a fix.
