    Hello everyone,
Just to let you guys know, the european 5672 bios will work fine with PanAm 5672's. Nice to see that they now have core 2 duo support. However all of you should know that when you flash to a euro bios, it changes the way your screen looks. WHen using the european drivers, it will look like there is 'snow' in shaded areas and normally smooth color gradiants. If you can't stand this, just download the american bios or restore from your bios backup. It will eliminate this snow effect.

What do you mean look like snow? I have been using Euro bios for quite a while and havent noticed anything, is there a newer one out?

If my brother approves, I will try the omegas this weekend. I,ve seen about 50/50 positive and negative reviews. Time to set a restore point. Thanks JohnnyT for bringing this up on your massive post. :-) I have the Acer supplied drivers installed (8.241.0). Go figure, I dont see those listed under the american site or Euro site. My 3d mark 03 score with the stock drivers are 4829.
I would like to try the omega overclocking feature on the ram frequency. I,m just worried about the extra heat.
I hope to see more posts on this.
A dedicated thread to the Omega 6.9 that I started is here:
Has anyone try OMEGA 6.9 drivers yet.
hope to see more post here and there :-)
thanks again for this well thought out thread, and enjoy some rep points on me :-) HAPPY GAMING
