CD drive problem
I own Acer 4820TG TimelineX laptop and its been over a year since i have bought it, the cd drive was working perfectly fine up until today when all of a sudden the laptop was not detecting the CD drive, i checked in the device manager and there was a yellow triangle with exclamatory mark and the following message came when I clicked on CD drive (in device manager)
"Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)"
What do you think is the problem, I would really be grateful if anyone could help me.
Thank you

Re: CD drive problem
If I were you, I would first go into device manager and uninstall the device drivers and allow it to automatically re-install.
