Need some advice

I'm thinking of buying this laptop Acer Aspire Timeline X5830TG Laptop - Laptops | Ebuyer.com

However. I'm not sure whether I should go for it or not. You lot are probably more knowledgeable on price points etc. Is this a good buy? Are acer laptops good quality?

Slightly old graphics (1 year +) and the i-5 is good but not an i-7 obviously. The HDD is good size and 6gb RAM is good.
Still seems a bit high priced to me (converted to dollars) and think you can do better for that amount if you search around.
The newer Acer machines are pretty good except for the keyboard and viewing angle of screen. Tolerable for most people though.

It's a good price, similar laptops are priced at higher prices from others. Even the T model with i3 cpu is priced at £594 from same dealer.
