Baking didn't work for me- tried it twice. I had to replace the card in the end.

@dedalos91: You are much better off with a 9600M GT or GS - as the 9500M GS is really a GeForce 8000-series card, it will not permanently fix Bumpgate.

Yes, but the compatibility problems? What can I do with them?
I'm not sure I can do a 9600M to work on my laptop.
I will need much help and many instructions ...

i do have a 9600m gt 1gb ddr2 after upgrading to a 9700m ddr3
Its the C1 revision so no bumpgate, but that depends on if its compatible.

Install the patched BIOS from the MXM BIOS Mods thread. That should take care of it.
