Asus GT 240M and 9650M GT should be fine - but make sure that the card does look like the one in my avatar, and not a mirror image of it.

I am looking on ebay for an 9500M GS in low price and after installation will tell you the results.
Because i have trying without success many other cards (few faulty 8600M GT's ... try to fix it, few good 9600M GT ... no success etc...)

The highest upgrade available for the 5920G is the GT 240M. If you have good soldering skills, you can get a GT 330M or HD 4650 in there. An MSI HD4670 will also work - but it's impossible to find.

So, you say that we can put a GT 330M into ours 5920G?

The instructions for modding a GT 330M can be found in either the MXM BIOS modding thread, or the MXM cards thread (can't remember which one).

Predictably benchmark scores are almost identical too

OK, but in ebay can you find a lot of 8600M GT defect (with the well-known problem) and none 9500M GS.
This means something? This means that 9500 is more reliable or more a few?

8600M GT is older so it's more likely to have already failed. Both suffer from bumpgate issues.
I've had a 9500M GS fail on me recently
