    Sorry I bailed from the 7750g as it is too big for my taste- sold it at my cost minus $29 dollars. Went to a cheapo A6-3400m Acer 5560 that I got on ebay for $329. 7750g has good specs and if something comes out at that price point for a 15.6 screen, I am all over it.
    Acer 5560, A4-3400M 1.4-2.3 GHZ quad core , 8gb RAM, 15.6 LCD, 320 gb HDD, 6520

    Thinkpad T-420 i7-2820qm 2.3 ghz 16gb ram, 160gb Intel SSD, 500gb 7200rpm HDD-ODD, NVS4200m (upgrade to egpu via express card slot), 14" 1600x900 LCD, 9 cell battery

    NeoandGeo, what specs did you overclock it to? Can you post figs? Thanks

    I overclocked to a slightly bumped 7690. 750/950, which keeps videocard temps a steady 65c during gaming. I'm surprised it stays so cool during Diablo III and Kingdoms of Amalur.

    Only thing I have to do to play well on a mix of medium and high settings is to set a framerate limit of 30 so I am not jumping from the low 30's to low 50's.

    I love this laptop, except for the apparent inability to get flash content running on the ATI card. Some of the more advanced browser games are very laggy/choppy using the Intel HD graphics.

    I think I clocked mine to 725/1000; I haven't tested it very much to see how the temps are holding but at this point it seems my results mirror neogeo's.

    Note, I can't use msi afterburner to OC, only trixxx, not really sure why that is.

    Neogeo; I'm surprised flash isn't being processed by the GPU that you specify. I have my BIOS set so that the 7670m is set to be on full-time, can you give me a link to a flash game you have troubles with? I'd like to see if its relegated to your system or if its a common problem.

    Sims social is a game I have a notable problem with while using switchable graphics laptops. I set the browser to use the high performance processor, but while playing them the movement is laggy and I see that there is no discrete GPU activity. I have enabled the option for 'always enable PEG' but it doesn't seem to do anything for me.

    I'll check it out, I doubt my experience will be any different, but I'll check. I installed ccc 12.3 with newer drivers and don't seem to have the option to specify which apps use which gpu, so we will just see what happens.

    At least we are making baby steps to having a working set of Leshcat drivers. I had to roll back to the official Acer set because after a restart Diablo III would no longer work on the ATI card.

    Hey guys, you can try these steps to get MSI Afterburner to enable Overdrive in CCC and to also get it to allow overclocking.

    Make a batch file with the following command in the MSI Afterburner folder then run it.

    MSIAfterburner.exe -xcl

    Should get a message to reboot if it worked right. When you reboot and go into CCC you should see the Performance/AMD Overdrive option. Hope this helps.

    Also, if you want to get Afterburner working right open the config file and type this statement in the [ATIADLHAL] section as shown. Also note the UnofficialOverclockingMode is changed to 1.

    [ATIADLHAL]
    UnofficialOverclockingEULA = I confirm that I am aware of unofficial overclocking limitations and fully understand that MSI will not provide me any support on it.
    UnofficialOverclockingMode = 1
    AccessibilityCheckingPeriod = 0
    UnifiedMemoryUsageMonitoring = 1

    I did repasting gpu+cpu. Helps me a little bit. At heavy all core cpu's load (lynx) temps rise down from 100 to 90°C, at normal load cpu temps are 80°C . But at idle temps are the same - around 60° C. I hope lower idle temps and silent with fan off. Heatsink is connected with cpu+gpu(6650m) and this is maybe problem. Ati gpu is always on at 1.0v does not matter idle or load.

    Don't know, where is problem. This low power i3 should be a silent hammer. I think that Acer united cooling system is not good.

    Advice who thinking about repasting cpu+gpu at 7750G. This work is not so easy. You should take a part the laptop. Motherboard need take out of the chassis and you will see more than 20 screws out. Gpu integrated to mb, no upgrade available.

    I broke lot of small plastic block which hold upper plastic cover under keyboard, luck screws hold this cover also.

    Results: I don't recommended repasting.

    Future: My next laptop will be with easy access to gpu and cpu.

    Hello all! I just bought a 7750g-6645 and loving it so far! Just one question, I got it off tigerdirect and bought a Kingston 4GB 1333MHz DDR3 Non-ECC CL9 SODIMM to install on the laptop. I was just wondering how to install it into the laptop.
