    Used the laptop for some gaming this weekend. My only beef with it is that it runs a bit warmer than my K53TA. CPU is ~79-80C under load during gaming, and that's while using a cooling pad.

    LOL, in the meantime, I just did a fresh install to try another driver combo on the ASUS for BF3 since I can't remember for anything which one was working best for me

    Anyone? SATA III speeds 6gbps or 3gbps? Pretty prease! The only thing holding me back at this point.....

    Intel RST reports that I am connected at 6gbps with my Crucial RealSSD

    Any chance you could run CrystalDiskMark & see what read/write it gives you?

    I'm not familiar with Intel RST

    Really DYING to pull the trigger here LOL.. just got a DSLR (60D) after having to sell mine last year... & just signed up for Adobe Creative Cloud with student pricing... need more screen space on the go!
