I've taken the rather precipitate plunge and bought one of these and I'd be interested in the experiences of other users.
In particular, I'd be interested in any experince of upgrading the OS and issues with drivers - getting the vcirtual keyboard to work, for example.
Initial reaction (after about 4 hours):
Virtual keyboard works okay. It is a little bit slow and I wouldn't want to write my blockbuster novel on a flat screen keyboard, but it's eminantly usable. You do have to be careful about accidental contact with the screen, though.
The ring thingy - some bits look good (clipboard for web parts); others a bit iffy (creating new gestures is a bit of an art)
The screens themselves are crystal clear. Lovely.
The memory card reader is an add-on, which is a bit questionable.
The device itself is quite attractive (IMHO) but bulky - not a lightweight. In the light of this, I think it's a real bummer there is no built in DVD. (In the respect, maybe Acer sees it more as a tablet than a notebook - in fact they have it under tablets in their support site!)
