Factory Reset partition?

My brother's aspire got virus and i did my best to recover but it just need to be back to factory.
Can't restore - it said disabled
Can't factory restore via windows, everything in programfiles is gone, did search, zilt.
Search comes up with ALT+F10, doesn't work.
No, DVD, what's my other options before I install Windows from DVD(not factory)?

What do you mean by eRecovery is not accessible?
If eRecovery application is not installed did you try to install it from Acer support site and use it to burn DVDs?

I assumed you were talking bout the applications that most pc comes with now day to create back up dvd.
That apps is not available.
I've came across this virus before, where everything disappear and I went to the attrib and unhide them all. In this case, it doesn't help.

If that's the case this whole experiment is probably not worth your time.
Install Windows using a retail DVD and a product key that's on the bottom of the notebooks, use Acer-provided drivers or update them on your own and activate Windows via phone (OEM ones don't activate via Internet).
It will save you a lot of trial an error with trying to launch erecovery at all.

Check the following two things.

1) As someone else mentioned, make sure d2d is enabled in the bios. You already said it is, great.

2) In the bios, make sure the hard drive is set as the FIRST boot device. Chances are this is your problem.

Save the changes, then restart, press and hold "alt" while repeatedly pressing F10.
