I am not sure you can't force it to boot. I was just saying there's no other option if it doesn't boot.
Here you can find a kind of SPI EEPROM programmer but make sure it supports the kind of EEPROM your card uses (a small 8 pin chip on the upper left side of the card, near a memory chip).

Is it possible to flash the vBIOS to the 240m and then solder that piece of the card to the 5870 ? My 240 is nearly broken now. I only have a picture on a second screen. On the internal one I got a white display

I don't think it's possible. They almost certainly use different EEPROMs which in turn use different read/write algorithms so it's very unlikely for that to work.
    What happened to your GT240m?

I don't know. Maybe something other is broken. I booted from the GT 240M to the usb drive and changed the card to HD 5870M to flash the bios. Everthing worked, but the HD 5870M has not flashed to the new vBIOS. I know that is risky, but I don't want to buy such a programmer from China . I tested a 2 GB SD card, but the 5870 isn't working. Now I have a white screen on the internal display. On a external everything is right. I don't know what's broken. Maybe the connector of the display, the GPU or the display itself.

The mainboard was dead. I have a new mainboard now. The repair was cheap in comparison to buy a new mainboard at the acer sellers. the 5870M is still dead. Any link how to get this programmer in germany ?

If you can access the VBIOS chip while the card is installed in the system, try the following:
-Desolder one pin of the chip.
-Install the card int your system, and boot from the USB drive.
-While still in the machine and powered on, restore the desoldered pin. Be careful with this step, not to short anything!
    -Flash your original VBIOS back.

Most MXM machines will go through POST (with no image, of course) if no VBIOS is detected.
