Do u have any idea how to disassemble LCD display ?

I'm doing just fine. Still enjoying my 8951G, ..but at the same time also in the market for a new laptop for work ... (The up-coming MacBook Pro..!! ---or when it isn't what I Need/hope for, a BIG new 2012 BTO!!

hhhmm, To be honest, I have no Idea how to disassemble this LCD display..

And If any-time I should have something done with the display, we have here one Very talented
(named him Mr. PC-DUuuude ), who repairs and/or switches out with new display, ---every single laptop/notebook.... no-matter the model/brand
And trust me when I say, He is very good at it! Cause he does it with every laptop, ---without using any service manual! And --thus far, For Real ---no errors!,..

---so nope... I don't know how to disassemble the LCD dislay,
(and then again why would I want to try figure that out, with Mr. PC-DUuuude just one call away!

Right now for the 8951G service manual, I start to doubt a bit, if we'll ever gonna see him...

Maybe you've got a Mr. PC-DUuuude talented person who could do whatever you want to do with your display?

The 8951G was some nice cash... but a MacBook Pro.....It's certainly not cheap....
----Just a week or so (I Hope), and Apple will either get my order for a new MacBook Pro,... or We go the windows route... (Which I hope not with all the Mac Edit software I have laying around to use again...)

Can somebody point me in the right direction?
I recently dropped a ssd in the second drive bay and instead of utilizing the included "SSD Magician" software to clone the first hd I would very much like do a fresh install of just the oem os along with a few acer apps, but I'm unsure where those executable files are located. I realize there is a SYSTEM RESERVED partition, but I am also unsure how to go about loading it. If this has been explained in one of the previous posts I must've overlooked, but any info or advice would me much obliged!

I Have a recently purchased AS5951G-9630 Laptop and i'm planing to install a clean Windows 7 x64 Ultimate after i'll receive my Vertex 4 SSD and want to know if there is any software to know exactly what hardware i have inside? Because like example, on Asus website there are 3 drivers for wireless lan:

Broadcom
Atheros
Intel

How can i check what exactly i have in my laptop?

and 2nd question, anyone have troubles with bluetooth? I can't find any device and my laptop can't be founded by my mobile phone? Any sugestions? Thanks!

A very Simple solution, use the Acer-recovery disks. (make sure you make them!)
You can use them to do a fresh install, which installs everything in factory-settings (Including the hidden Acer-recovery partition)---simple...

There are different programs which can give you in-site into what HW is inside.

A Very good one is HWInfo64 It's a Freeware program giving you much info + sensors-checking.

A 'Much Wider/better' program (paid) is AIDA64 Extreme Edition
It's a Very great program for just $40, but for that, you get
--Hardware diagnostics
--CPU, memory and disk benchmarks
--Temperature, voltage and cooling fan monitoring
--Software and operating system analysis

About your Bluetooth, Make sure you've got all settings set right in the Bluetooth-settings on your 5951G
Yes to:
--Allow Bluetooth devices to find this computer
--Allow Bluetooth devices to connect to this computer
and (To keep things save) yes to:
--Alert me when a new Bluetooth device wants to connect

You have to install Launch Manager if you have it already press button on left side where are orange and blue lights flashing and turn bluth on ..
Bluetooth is foxconn manufacturer but drivers are broadcom ..

Hi! I tried to install Broadcom drivers and it shows that device can't be found. Was able to successful instal Atheros Bluetooth Drivers, and when i click on the button from the left site, on/off it appears to turn on/off bluetooth and wifi but still no luck to find any device from Laptop, and laptop can't be founded by other devices also(the option to make laptop visible is on)

any ideas?
