    Hi again,
i've got some serious problem. I'm trying to install windows XP, without ACPI. But the installer hangs up after loading the drivers (before getting to the partition thingy). I've tried several windows copies, both with switchable and intel graphics , and now with the modded bios, with the intel card only, but the installer always hangs there, doing nothing. Maybe somebody knows the solution here... Messing with ACPI settings in bios maybe?

It's this one you want: 12-8_vista_win7_win8_64_dd_ccc.exe

Also, graphics has to be set to discrete in BIOS.

Hey guys, I just got an Intel Centrino 6230 yesterday, and I can't get it to work in my 3820TG. Oddly enough the Bluetooth seems to work, but the WiFi radio refuses to turn on or even be recognized in my device manager. I have the latest drivers from Intel, and I updated my BIOS as well. The radio still turns on and off on my previous card, but nothing I do seems to solicit a response from the new Intel.

To the people who are using this card, what did you do to get it to work? What drivers are you using, what hotkey software, etc.?

Thanks a lot for the info guys.

double click on "ATi Radeon HD (whatever you have)"

somewhere on that pop up window (4 Tabs), it will say that the device has stopped working and if you want to "enable" it.

last night i tried to BF3, and i couldnt, origin said that my hard/soft ware didnt support DX11 or what ever...
so i did the above steps, "enabled" it, went back and all worked...

hope that this makes sense, and works for you....
Did not work as everything is enabled already.

Still doesn't work. I ended up uninstalling the drivers and just using the BIOS to switch graphics instead by using the latest Intel and AMD drivers. No more hybrid drivers

After updating the drivers as per too456's wonderful consolidation post, wifi can no longer be toggled by Launch Manager v5.0.6

    Bluetooth still works.

Any advise on this issue is much appreciated.
