Anyone knows where to find a german backlit Keyboard? There 's just one on ebay(ger) which costs too much (~60€, around 90 $..)

Whoa, wait a second, what's all this about aluminum plates? This spec list (see picture) isn't just a sticker?

Can this be removed for a clean look?

These are simple stickers on the palm-rests, pulling them off was the first thing I did after unboxing.

I think they might have been talking about the acer logo on the (aluminium) lid.

I have this problem and want to see if anyone else here have experienced this problem.

I was working on my paper on my laptop last night till 2am, and then I shut done my laptop.
Next morning I turn on my laptop but when I press the circle power on button, the laptop has no response at all. No light indicators. I have my laptop plugged in to the power outlet and with my battery out. So I check to make sure my AC adapter is properly plugged and I see a green light on my AC adapter so it was plugged.
So I tried to put my battery in and tried to run it from the battery only.
    And it still didn't work.

Is sending in my laptop to Acer my only hope?
    Thanks.

I wanted to to the Thaiphoon modding too, but wasn't brave enough to do it. All you need to modify is one byte, and the checksum bits of course. And maybe you need to use RWEverything to do the actual modding, as Thaiphoon wasn't Win7 / 64-bit compatible the last time I checked.

BTW, come over to the tweak thread.

Yes, had to make a dual boot with XP to get it to work. I managed to flash the module a few times with different timings but it did only clock worse... I finally took a chance of removing all except the 533MHz entry with loose timings, but then it got bricked. No big deal, I have 2x4GB modules coming in so I still have one 2GB module to play with.

    Sure, I'll pop over.

Just placed an order from NCIX last night, so hopefully I can join you guys soon! So excited. Anyone know how long it takes for NCIX to process orders usually? I'm a first time customer from the US.
