Re: 3820TG Owner's Lounge - Part Two
@zsero
Hi, can I flash the 1.19 Modded Bios in Windows environment?
EDIT: Done through DOS. All works fine...
How can I use the latest intel drivers? I tried to install the official intel drivers, but the installation process give me an error.
Should I uninstall the old drivers?Last edited by venom5285; 11th August 2011 at 03:06 PM.

Re: 3820TG Owner's Lounge - Part Two
Still can't get Windows Update to install SP1. Just updated to the latest official Acer drivers, without updating to the latest AMD drivers. Only thing I haven't tried yet is using the modded hybrid drivers and watermark removal.

You can plug a SATA 3 drive into it, but it will work at SATA 2 speeds.
Current primary work machine: Sony VAIO SA
Current play machine: HP DV6Z-6135DX A8-3400@2.6GHz 6750M
Current backup portable: Acer Aspire One AO722 C50

Try downloading the service pack directly from Microsoft here. You should not have any problems if you installed the latest official Acer drivers since the driver version of the Intel package was 8.15.10.2189 which does not have the problem.

Re: 3820TG Owner's Lounge - Part Two
only sequential read are slower, 4K will be with SATA2 the same, so it is better to buy a Crucial m4, then Vertex 2, the crucial will work slower in sequnetial reads an SATA2 because of the SATA2 limitation, the 4K read/write will be the same liken on SATA3, because SATA2 is sufficient for this, so at the end the M4 will be faster then the Vertex 2
is there a possiblity to regulate the right fan, if intel graphic is enabled
is it possible to regulate the voltage of the ATI, i want to undervolt the card

Re: 3820TG Owner's Lounge - Part Two
Yes...
But I want the computer to change to Intel graphics when on battery. I don't want to enter bios everytime I want to change graphics.
Guess I have to use these drivers then:
Grafiktreiber (ATI/AMD) & Hybrid (ATI/AMD + Intel) & Realtek Audio Treiber + HDMI >>> Download + Anleitung - Acer-Userforum.deClevo P150EM. Screen: 15.6" "Matte Type" FullHD 95% Color Gamut. CPU: Intel i7-3720QM. GPU: Nvidia GTX 680M. RAM: 32GB (4x8GB) 1600mhz. System drive: Samsung 840 Pro 256GB SSD. Drive 2: Toshiba MQ01ABD100 1TB. Wi-Fi: Intel 6235.
