Ok after cleaning the old thermal payste and adding some new MX-2 my temps are very low even the gpu is 10C lower. its amazing what a lil bit of thermal compound can do!!
only if i could overclock it. ime 99% it carnt be done on my laptop tho.
and does anyone know if its worth overclocking/underclocking the 9500m GS? i dont do any gaming i just watch films (via hdmi) and sometime have alot of things open.

Re: Check these Temps on my acer 6920G.
It's an old GPU chip so...don't overclock unless you play certain games that suffer framerate issues. It won't be able to play most modern games anyhow.
The temperature is fantastic though. I've previously owned 3 laptops with Nvidia chips and they're all really damn hot.
If you're looking for some good medium-powered overclockers in the market, look no further than laptops with ATi 5650 / 6550 / 5730 / etc. In fact the TimelineX series carries those.
