    Default 7745G-5468G1T -SSD install

I want to install a 120gb SSD in my 7745G laptop. This model has dual 500g hard drives.one for OS and other as data back up.Once I figure out which one has the OS ,I will remove it and install SSD and I think I need to unplug the other drive so the Bios reqonizes the SSD as the C drive so I can reload win 7.???right?Any pointers or suggestions.
Once win 7 is installed ,re plug the remaining 500 gb drive and everything should be fine.
will the above work--did on my desktop ok

Sounds pretty safe, though you may not even need to remove the 2nd HDD as I think it installs to what ever is in the primary slot or primary boot drive.

When installing Win7 you can decide where to install it.

Well then and sorry to be harsh, but thats a pretty *dampers on* silly *dampers off* question then.

Of course in the normal windows installation you can choose the hard drive and can just have both normally in.

I know windows 95 could and I guess 3.1 could too.
