Looks like the 3830TG is now a single heatsink/fan solution.

OMG, it is BLUE my favourite color!!!
And the hinge designs follows the current 4740G which I have and I can attest that this design is ultra solid.
And the Keyboard is awesome! Not that the keyboard now is bad.
It looks like a Blue Ethos very nice.
No Nvidia I hope, ATi works better with opensource considering the current state of Optimus.

Wasn't the 3820T also a single heatsink/fan solution? As far as I know it was only the 3820TG that had the dual heatsink/fan solution. If you see closely, the right side has a plastic space with no connectors where they might add a fan/pipe.
    Currently: Acer 1410
    Wanting: U300/ U300s / E220s / 13" Trinity! (yes it will keep on changing )

that is exactly where the HDD is.

this is going to be a single fan design, there is no space available that I can see.

the fan is massive though, its almost the same size as the 2.5 HDD

Can someone who actually owns the 3820TG & T laptop dispute this?
Or they are too busy gaming?

I am wrong, the 3820T has both vents.

    Right: https://picasaweb.google.com/ruacer/...91855546467314

If the links don't work, I just used Acer Ru's images, you should be able to find them from their Picasa homepage.
