Default Mouse pad not working on Acer Aspire 5515

I have had my laptop (Acer Aspire 5515) for a little over one year now. Ive had i think two or three viruses during this time. Recently i had one in which the computer would randomly flick off and could not be restored...i had it repaired and it is all working and running properly once again.

However, ever since i got my computer back. the mouse has been spazzing out. Every day at least once or twice..usually i would say around the same time of day, my mouse freezes up and i cannot move it OR no matter what my mouse roll's over it like clicks everything no matter what and freezes up or doesnt move or takes 10 years to get from point A to point B. I shut it off and and turn it on again a few times (roughly 3-12) and it usually starts working again or i turn it off and let it sit for a while (like 15-60 minutes) and turn it on again.

It has become a huge inconvience and i would love it if somone could tell me how to fix the problem?

i have tried the USB mouse but still have the same issues.

Anyone else ever experiences this? what is the problem exactly and how do i fix it? :S

How do you get so many viruses what security are you using.

First download and run the free version of this,
    Malwarebytes

and see if that shows any malware.

Acers have a recovery partition that enables you to restore back to as it was on day one... inconvenient but if you have issues with malware it can be the only complete fix.

See what the scan shows first.
