Start with testing new Realtek audio drivers.
Another thing that seems to often cause sound stuttering is a wireless driver.
It must be something with latency.
So make sure those two are up to date first.

    Hi everybody!
Is there anybody here who have replace the dvd-rom with a caddy for hdd? I want to know which screw has to be unscrewed in order to extract the dvd-rom.

have another issue : i replace the actual hdd by a ssd. I didn't want to use the acer recovery to reinstall the system (because of all the crapwares from acer), so i use a copy of windows 7 home premium to install the system and put my license key when i was asked to. But when i want to activate windows, it says that the key is not valid so i have to call to activate my copy of windows. Is it the only solution?

    Thanks for your help.

Anyone having trouble prising the back panel off? Obviously I've unscrewed all screws as shown in the guide but it just won't come off - at all. Might find a way of getting to the fan once I've done that.

I recently started having an odd display issue. A minute or two after I start up, the screen will go black and only the mouse cursor will show. It can be moved around, and will even change to a text cursor or hand cursor depending on what its supposed to be hovering over, but I can't get anything else to show. This only occurs on the Radeon. Once I switch to the Intel card, everything displays just fine. Any suggestions?

I feel like my speaker volume is lower than it used to be. Usually somewhere around 30-40% was quite audible, but now I have to go to 50% or above for it to really be clear.

Things seem fine with a headset compared to before. Is it possible my speakers are damaged somehow? Nothing has happened with my laptop. All my drivers are up to date. Not sure what it could be...

You're loosing your hearing probably because you have an inoperable brain tumor. It's either that or the speakers are collecting dust or the driver core is just wearing out from age.
