Always try the latest bios version unless there is a specific reason not to
Follow my suggestions above
If the flash goes wrong you need to recover the bios using a recovery disk specific to your system. . . . so try not to have it go wrong
If it isn't broken don't 'fix it' . . . or at least do this first !
