Nope, i think one DVD will do. To recover system as from factory you will have to boot from DVD i guess. To just install drivers and utilities you will simply use that DVD after windows loads.
By the way, i don't delete that partition and suggest you to keep it as well.
You will need it one day, believe me
    Have fun.

    Hello all,

I too have Acer aspire 1640. I formatted C drive and lost the software that lets me access PQservice. I have checked and still the PQservice is on my hard disc. How can access it and restore my notebook back to my factory settings…

    Thanks to all.

i don't think the DRIVER & APPLICATIONS DISK is required when doing a COMPLETE recovery..

i think it's there for use when only a driver or an app becomes damaged
atleast that's the way it worked on the one system i've did a Factory Restore on... all drivers and factory apps were on the main OS recovery disk

you must download the Empowering Tech FRAMWORK... install it
then download the eRecovery Application.. install it...

then run the eRecovery application to allow you to BURN your recovery disks

or press ALT + F10 when acer screen comes up... that should start the Erecovery process for you automaticly...
