is your laptop shipped with a 3G modem? If not, then there is no working SIM card slot.

I don't think it does because I only got the basic specs that probably everyone else got in Australia (and since the 1820PT is the old model).

Also, I could not get one in black.

ive recently bought the 1825ptz and im very happy with it though the only downside is that in portrait tablet mode the viewing angle is pretty poor, i find myself havin to tilt the screen back and left in order to get the right quality view, has anyone else found this?

I hate apple for giving the ipad the best quality touchscreen i have ever used, viewing angles arent an issue with it, and not giving it all the feautures of my acer like webcam usb etc...oh and flash too.
