After a while, you get so many prints that it starts to look like a matte finish.

Probably Sam's Club and/or Costco. They sell their electronics with 2 year warranties.

I'm still trying to decide if I want to get something like a Zagg invisibleSHIELD for the lid, or do something like 3M Carbon Fiber film instead.

I got it so low by using RMClock to undervolt + hardware undervolt mod (see Tweaks (2) thread) + all settings to aggressive power-saving in W7 Pro Power Options thing. If i watch youtube, or browse excessively it goes up to around 7-8W.

On Ubuntu I get constant 10.4W with no power-management tweaks. I'd expect it to go down to around 8W if i tweak it.
Can this also be achieved with a SU4100? Anyone?

Woo hoooo!!! Installed Sims 3 and it worked great! Even the graphics were defaulted at Medium. I turned it down since I'm adding mods that would slow it down more. I also installed Age of Empires II and III and they work great. I should try Street Fighter IV

No, you won't get such low power usage with the SU4100: the SU4100 lacks some advanced power saving features and is a Dual Core.
