Re: [Acer Aspire 1410/1810t/1810tz] Timeline Tweaks (2)
EDIT: sorry, it's just now that I see you were asking about bios ver 3310 - I was referring to 3303. For me it was 3303 which improved matters regarding playback (however it may be just coincidental evidence) - I haven't yet installed 3310. sorry to have mislead you

gpu-z doesn't list it
- in 1810's BIOS the video bios is described as 1800 (I think it didn't change after installing the 3303 version)
more good news - I've installed the new intel drivers and now 1080P works _perfectly_ in fullscreen (and of course windowed). The trick was to uninstall all other past versions (why doesn't the intel installer do it automatically ??) and install the one downloaded from intel's site.
Btw, windows update also proposes the gui driver update but I tried it before manually installing the intel package and 1080p video playback was worse than before - plus the gui's interface had gone from the clean blue one to a paralytic control panel like one.Last edited by cucurigu; 11th April 2010 at 03:57 AM.

any1 have any idea wth Intel protected the download of its own driver package?
GS45 - Vista/7 - x86 - ZIP
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Deta...=2991&lang=eng
EXE packages are accessbile. x64 ZIP is accessible as well. only x86 ZIP is protected.

Re: [Acer Aspire 1410/1810t/1810tz] Timeline Tweaks (2)
Also, I noticed a new audio driver for the 1410 Win 7 64bit premium. I'm travelling without my 1410 so I can't install it, but I was wondering if anyone had? Perhaps it helps with the low volume?
I can install it later this week when I'm back home, but if anyone has any experience with it, I'd be interested to hear it.
