Re: Acer Aspire 1410 and 1810T Timeline (single core) 11.6" Thread
----
I just ordered the 5200 pack.. UM09E36 - I did not see a 5600mah pack.. but the 5200mah is 800mah more, about another hour of operating time.. I think perhaps they made a 'typo' - stating a 5600mah pack, when it should have been a 5200mah..
But if there is a 5600 mah, please let us have the part number.

Re: Acer Aspire 1410 and 1810T Timeline (single core) 11.6" Thread
Will be interesting to see what I get, the part number is the E36.. so either the info is wrong on the web - stating the E36 is a 5200mah, or they have made a new E36 which is 5200mah.. I'd sure like the E36 to be 5600mah..
I looked up a few E36's.. they state:
ACER Li-ion battery UM09E36,Rating 11.1V 5200mAh 58Wh
Even though the link states..
ACER Li-ion battery UM09E36,Rating 11.1V 5600mAh 63Wh
Another states:
Product ID:1001970
Battery Type:Li-ion
Battery Voltage:11.1 V
Battery Capacity:5600 mAh (6 cell)
Battery Color:Black
And the last site I'll check says..
Product ID: 1001970
Battery Type: Li-ion
Voltage: 11.10 V
Capacity: 5200 mAh
Color: Black
Same exact part number.. can't wait to see what comes in..

American Express Promo thru Tiger Express
On Dec. 9 American Express had 175 Ruby Red AS1410 w/ su3500 Intel core 2 solo chips on sale for $309...they sold out in 1 second, literally.
I used Google checkout, so my AS1410 cost me $304, delivered to my house. UPS say they will deliver my 1410 on Weds 12/16...sweet deal!!
Any of the other 175 lucky Amex card holders on this Board?
Once I get my 1410 and the serial number, how long should it take for Acer to send the Win 7 upgrade?
Thanks

Re: Acer Aspire 1410 and 1810T Timeline (single core) 11.6" Thread
Most 1410's are being sold with the Win 7 Premium.. are you sure yours does not come installed? Since the system does not come with a CD to install any software, perhaps they will just send you a product code number, and you download from the web? I'm sure most of us "recent" buyers got the Win 7 home Premium 64 bit..
Suppose the Fry's deal was pretty good as it came with Win 7 installed.

"Bump" for those of us with single core. Thread seems to be dying.

Re: Acer Aspire 1410 and 1810T Timeline (single core) 11.6" Thread
Well if this thread is dying we can make one big thread again.
All 1410 and 1810 users reunited again
Edit: I think it's a good idea, I'll make the other thread the main thread. This one will be closed.
If you disagree PM me and tell me why.Last edited by Phil; 16th December 2009 at 02:49 PM.
