I'll post pictures in a new thread once I officially decide to ask help to open up the laptop, but first I have to mentally prepare myself.

Anywho, about how much would I expect an HD 4650 to cost? I was digging up 9600M GT's for sale at eBay and they cost somewhere about $200 there, but the HD 4650's are just a tad bit faster, right? So it's just right to expect that it has more or less the same price as 9600M GT?
    Expect this.

@ Lee_what: I'm not sure - the 4937G hasn't shown up on my usual sources, so I can't verify that it's MXM just yet.

Wow. That's definitely a handful. Haha. I hope I could indeed save up for that.

I'd rather spend the cash on an X25-M 80GB SSD - that would speed up EVERYTHING on my system, instead of just games.

The X25 is a SSD. A really good one.

Is it just me, or SSDs are improving only launch times and have barely anything in common with the performance afterwards? Well they may improve for example in-game load times, but I don't think that it's worth it, at least for now (high cost, low space). This is just me after all.

Yeah a 7200rpm HDD + GFX card would beat just a move to an SSD.

Also true, but a graphics card rarely makes an impact on overall computer performance outside of games.
