Arminator thanks for your guide ;-) Will try that tonight!

I have an turion also but 65nm, bit cooler that yours!

I just swapped the screwplate, it fits perfectly without any modicifations needed at the heatsink.

Check if the cooper part of the cooling plate completely lays on GPU for best heat conducting...

I had to modify cooling plate a bit since the copper partly didn`t touch GPU core...

The copper plate is completely touching. Have better temps than with the cpu scews. Idle 42 and with furmark 73 at the max.

Is it possible to swap the motherboard to an intel? I hate AMD since it's getting hot and cpu upgrades are more expensive then intel. ( seen plenty of them for cheap ).

I dont think Aspire 5520g was sold with intel cpus so there is no boards for Intel cpu to replace the AMD one...
Well my my opinion great deal is Turion Tl-66 which can be found on ebay for 80$ + shipping...

You can also try overclocking your CPU to gain some extra performance boost...

Tl-68 is just a bit more faster but way more expensive...

Nice chip but memory bandwidth limited and fairly hot (GTS250).

Not really; it's quite simple really.
I is smaller than II is smaller than III/HE is smaller than IV, and all are incompatible with A, which is smaller than B.

Hmz not sure you can call it stronger since it could do 2.4ghz at its stock 1.075v which is the lowest any Turion can be rated for.

So it could have been rated as a TL-68 (they did not exist at the time) and still have the lowest voltage set.

Looking at my results and my limited time (the motherboard had a faulty power connector) it looked like it was stable at 2.43ghz at 1.0V.

Early silicon, high quality. ****s over later chips. Just like the first G0 stepping Q6600s. They could go to 3.6ghz at low voltages while the later chips can hardly HIT 3ghz no matter the voltage.

    This one is just a bit stronger - TL-62 65nm Tyler AAA8G G2 stepping...

I managed to set FSB (HT) to 230 which made my current TL 60 go to 2300 it was stable but it didnt go further due to core limitations and 80C under load which also caused a GPU temp rise...

But this TL-62 should go further due to newer core...
