Re: Acer Aspire 8930G Owner's Lounge
8930G I have a laptop with a Q9000 processor. The notebook, when the processor reaches 70 degrees Celsius, the speed slows down by half. It happen when I run the twice the test Julia of the Everest and check the speed with RMClock.
Does anybody have the same problem?
Sorry for my English.

Re: Acer Aspire 8930G Owner's Lounge
I found a website where it is said how to enable VT on a 8930G. Seems to works, but I do think it is quite crazy to do so. Anyway if somebody is interested in modding his bios, this may be useful.

Re: Acer Aspire 8930G Owner's Lounge
Hello everybody,
stupid me but i am getting my acer 8930G this weekend, if the plane doesnot crash
I ordered also an pcmcia card (sweex firewire) as they said it would fit. i am having however doubts now as i read the quickmanual and there they are talking about that there is an expresscard. now i read that they are totally different! is that so? does the pcmcia card enters the LT?
and as i want to change to w7 64bit..... does someone know this is working?
Thanks a lot for your time and responses.
paul.
