core 2 duo like the one above is pure bollocks.
a pentium duo core t2370 will out perform it. 'high-end' pentium dual cores like t2370, t2390 or t2410 can and will beat low-end core 2 duos.
for example my t5670/t7100 is actually on par with the t2390.Hardy once told Bertrand Russell "If I could prove by logic that you would die in five minutes, I should be sorry you were going to die, but my sorrow would be very much mitigated by pleasure in the proof". Russell agreed with Hardy wholeheartedly about the delights of proofs.
