    4750 has Phoenix SecureCore Tiano.

Try this file: request download ticket | ifile.it

This will hopefully let your machine boot into an OS, allowing you to re-flash a correct BIOS. (Phoenix Tiano has an unusual recovery method; it does not flash the recovery image directly, instead, it just loads it as a temporary BIOS to allow using the regular flasher.)

    The process is:
    1. Put BIOS.cap on an USB flash drive, or burn it to a CD; then plug in the flash drive or insert the CD into the affected notebook.
    2. Remove battery and disconnect the charger.
    3. Press and hold Fn+Esc.
    4. Plug in the charger.
    5. Laptop should start booting automatically. If it doesn't press the Power button (still holding Fn+Esc).
    6. Release Fn+Esc. Boot menu or EFI shell should come up.
    7. Boot to your OS as you would normally do.
    8. Once booted, reflash your BIOS using the usual flash utility.

    its not working dude!!

    1. should i format the USB first? (fat or fat32???) people said fat32 is for larger disk size??
    3. Press and hold Fn+Esc. (duration of pressing??)
    5. If it doesn't press the Power button (duration of pressing??)
    6. Release Fn+Esc (duration of pressing Fn+Esc before release??). Boot menu or EFI shell should come up.

after all steps (also repeated so many times) but, nothing is happened.
the power is off then its turn on and fan spin and stop..
its repeats for the whole times..

    but

if plug in the ac/dc (never unplugged)for the whole time then press power on, the scratch gray screen showed up.
but nothing you can do with that screen..

    please help me

    1. You need FAT, probably. But for me, a CD has worked best for all Insyde systems.

You need to hold Fn+Esc continuously while plugging in the AC adapter and pressing (momentarily) the Power button. Once the fan spins up, release Fn+Esc.

    Yes, burn it as Data.

The link you posted is for PhoenixBIOS. You have Phoenix SecureCore Tiano EFI.

I do not know what is wrong with my laptop.
i have followed all the steps you asked to but, the result is disappointing..

i have tried either by pen drive or cd, both showed the same behavior..

    1. i unplugged the power cable, removed battery.
    2. i pluged in usb / for cd, i powered on, and opened cd tray, put cd in and closed it back and unplugged the cable off.
    3. i hold fn+esc and plug in power cable (nothing happened)
    4. i press 'power on' once. the left led if in 'blue' followed by led two from right (sorry,i dont know the meaning of the symbol)
    5. then it has sound of cd player spinning (i guess it was cd, sound from right).
    6. after that sound, i released holding of fn+esc button.
    7. in 5 seconds, the two from right led blinking rapidly then, laptop is off !!!
8.then, 4 led turn on (power on, left led, 2 from right led, and cd player) and then, off continuously. i think its working, since last before i get asleep until this morning (bout 10 hours) it still continuously.

photo of my acer aspire 4750:

this the video i upload on youtube.com
    Watch Problem !!!

(there was a black screen in the video because i need to plug in the cable while holding on fn+esc, i put camera on the table for a while, and sorry for bad quality of video too, at least you can watch it)

help me to fix it please..
