They don't hire private detectives to see if you have voided your warrenty, they just look at your pc for half a minute too see if it has any physical damage.. I mean, they don't own the shop so why should they care if they loose 700$ or so.. Im 99% sure that this is the case.

Anyways, i really hope that i can find a turion tl-66 somewhere..

i know of a young lady who sent her laptop back with an upgraded WIFI card

they claimed the card caused a MB failure and refused to fix her PC..

so keep old CPU or any other upgrades you make,,, so if you have to ship back... your PC appears un-modified
