Check if you have set the right region code (A/B/C - should be written on the disk) and try again. Also, see if you can open the disk content in explorer; if not, your drivers might be at fault, even though i doubt it.
Some other apps are known to interfere with powerdvd 9 (antivirs, for example; i have nod 32, but they work fine together).

edit: also, did you upgrade vista to 7, or did you do a clean install?
ya... i did the clean installation of win7... i can browse the content of the disk from explorer...i'm not sure which region i should set.. it is a US version of Transformer...
I tried to change the region in powerdvd 9... but the option is gray out... i can't make any change to it...

Yeah, that might be it... US is region A. Just google "blu ray region reset" and you should be fine

DID ACER STEAL MY TV TUNER?

    Hello guys,

1st time poster. Please let me know if I should post this somewhere else.

Anyone with a 6920 will be able to help very easily, so please read, and thanks in advance!

I think Acer have forgotten to put a component back in to the laptop, after it was repaired under warranty.

After I got it home, I decided to clean the fluff out from behind each vent.

When I removed the smallest panel (bottom left if your 6920 is face down, and easily removed via one screw), I noticed that an empty input was sat there, marked "TV & Robson only". http://forum.notebookreview.com/images/smilies/eek.gif

Am I right, or was there never anything there to begin with?

    Thanks again!

Yes, there definitively was something there, the tv tuner. (check pic, taken 2 mins ago)

On another note, just got my replacement battery (14.8V 5.2Ah) and it powers the laptop just fine. Only problem is that it doesn't seem to want to charge when the notebook is on. It just stands still on 8% charge. I shut the notebook down for 10 mins, restart, and it shows 9% charge... Will leave it to charge over night and see what happens. Does anyone know how to fix this? BIOS update maybe? (running on stock v1.06)

Was a TV tuner part of your original specification? For my 6920G laptop it wasn't and I've just checked, and there's nothing there just like your's.

All 6920 motherboards have that printed under the second mini-PCI slot.
If your machine didn't come with a TV tuner, it wasn't removed.
Check the right side of your laptop, in between your hinge and the USB ports. If there isn't a coaxial input there, your system was not configured for a TV tuner.

Isn't it on the Left-Side which located below the CineDash?
    I mean from the Top-View.
If you're considering it is a Bottom-View, then, it is the Right-Side.

Nope - left-side has headphone, microphone, line-in jacks, HDMI out, USB port, Ethernet port, VGA out, modem port.
Here's the user manual: page 40 has the left side, page 41 the right (and where the TV coaxial input would be).
