Re: AS6920 Owners Lounge
You can - try using Nvidia System Tools. It's got nTune in there.
I've overclocked mine up quick a bit as you can see.Sorry if I'm not around too often - life seems to have gotten in the way of NBR.

Re: AS6920 Owners Lounge
did windows 7 service pack 1 solve any battery issues for anyone other than me?(currently running windows 7 ultimate x64) Last year I got an 8 cell battery for my 6920 and was having issues getting it to read correctly in windows 7, but after installing the service pack it was normal!
anyway... just thought I would see if anyone else noticed a change. :-)

Re: AS6920 Owners Lounge
Nope, worked fine for me since Day 1, ajbutch.
In other news, got a replacement fan from Acer under my (soon-to-be-expiring) extended warranty. My fan's been making a death rattle or something for the past few months. I suspect a bearing's gone wonky on me.Sorry if I'm not around too often - life seems to have gotten in the way of NBR.

Re: AS6920 Owners Lounge
well, the mobo in my 6920g finally gave up the ghost, and I decided to get a Sager np8170... but I do plan to fix it sometime this summer because it was a really good computer
so, if anyone knows where I can get a 6920g mobo (with the gpu mini pci slot) for cheap I would be really happy
I already looked around on ebay and can't find one for under $180

Re: AS6920 Owners Lounge
sorry for same question but how about 8gb in this laptop?
4gb is just not enough for 3D cad models
I would like to try this but ram is still $100 each
4GB PC2-5300 DDR2-667 SODIMM 200-pin Memory
although this site does say max 4GB
sooo.. does any know body/like to hazard a good guessacer 6920g,500gb,500gb in dvd bay,t8300@2.4,wifi ABGN,9500m gs 512ddr2,1920x1080
