Kone[+] vs Sensei vs Deathadder vs RAT 7 vs G9x vs Xai

INTRO

So as the title says.

What mouse do you guys recommend? I'm about to buy a new gaming mouse and I want YOUR recommendation.

Bit in a dilemma here.. also if you know a better mouse do suggest it, but explain why you think it's a valid option.

Also.. I'm quite aware of the pros and cons, I just do not have the mouse's next to me and I cant decide physically.. so help me out here

I've never hard of SteelSeries, but I don't like the looks of them. Never heard of the Roccat either.

I have had a G9x and a R.A.T. 7, which I currently have. The G2x was good, solid, but I hated the way it felt in my hand, since I like to spread my hand out.

The R.A.T. is great. I hated how it felt out of the box, but once I adjusted all of it, dang, it is comfortable. The sensor is very goos in my opinion, but you'll hear otherwise. I love the click wheel, and the side scroll is useful for switching weapons or spells in games. The adjustable DPI is great, but the G9x can do it too.

My vote goes to the DeathAdder. I've used them since the original 2007 model, and it has one of the best optical sensors ever made. Extremely comfortable shape as well, though that's more of a personal preference.

I would say, you could limit your choices to the Sensei, Deathadder, and the Logitech one. Heard bad things about Roccat and the mad catz RAT 7.

Well I'll take the RAT 7 and Roccat off my list.

The G9x sounds like a solid choice, but so does the Deathadder and the SteelSeries Sensei & Xai.

A choice I cannot decide by myself.. sadly.

Hi,
I have a Cyborg M.M.O. 7 and had a Roccat Savu before. The Savu was much smaller in width (the length can be changed on the M.M.O. so we can't really count that) and while it was a nice and reliable mouse I needed more buttons on it, that's why I went with the M.M.O. 7.
I needed some time to adjust to the width of it, but now I actually like it better than the Savu and because of the ability to change and move it's parts it fits my hand perfectly. It has a pretty standard macro/keybind software which works as expected. Surprisingly the ability to lock the mouse buttons to be continously pressed helps me quite often too, which I didn't expect. The only problem with it that I'd point out is that it's not as sturdy as it looks, mainly the palm rest. It's not perfectly firmly in it's place because of the adustability and it moves around a bit if you only put your palm on the mouse and move it around.
If the RAT 7 is similar in software and build quality (despite the palm rest) I would definitely recommend you that one .

I use a RAT 5. It's brilliant. I imagine the RAT 7 is a step up again!
