YOUR opinion will change when you know the fact you can turn off the wireless and plug it to the cord for faster response!

frankly, even when wireless, the response is still 1ms which is impressive for wireless mouse! I tried to notice any lag while playing L4D2, I failed! this is logitech not the magic mouse, lol!

Yep, it's a wired mouse with the option for gaming-grade wireless, does that sound better for the anti-wireless brigade? It's not just wired for charging, it actually does data-over-cable (you can unplug your wireless dongle and it'll still work). Even if it was a wired-only mouse, the price is very good for its performance and quality.

No, the polling rate and response time are exactly the same in both wired and wireless modes. Also, paying a price premium for a wireless mouse only to use it with a wire seems a bit silly.

Used a mx518 for 5+ years... Great mouse, so i'll recommend his new version, the g400...

Although i recently bough a TT eSports Black (for the looks, and i wanted to try something new and different).. I gotta say i have been happily surprised with it, great overall feel, nice looks, dpi change on the-go (like the mx518/g400), adjustable weight... Not missing my mx518, which is alot to say...

I notice no difference whether I use the G700 in wired or wireless mode. You must have super human powers because every review I've read on any wireless mouse released over the last couple of years state they noticed NO lag. The only lag wireless mice have is the lag from the USB port. The same USB port you plug your wired mouse into.

Show me a review on the G700 from a reliable source stating they noticed input lag.

can I confirm that with my orochi?

and one and only good mouse from razer is the deathadder, still works to this hour..the rest of them uses the infamous "twin eye" sensor! both naga and orochi use them!

well as long as it's not a mouse the requires buying new batteries all the time, i think OP will be fine either way. I still like G400..its not too big, not too small, no overkill of buttons, optical, and sleek. I think the most important factors before choosing a mouse is your hand size and gripping style.
