Default Can't get DVB-T USB tuner to work. CE6230 CE9500B1

I've got this DVB-T tuner from Dealextreme:

I put in my laptop and then I get a message device 'CE9500B1' found. I put the CD in. I get a menu and choose install driver. Error message: "you must install BlazeDTV first".

I install the software, after that I try the driver again. Same error message.

After that I install the driver manually. Seems to go ok. This device appears in the device manager:

When I start the Blaze DTV software I see this device:

When I click "Scan" nothing happens. I can't click properties.

I tried a different driver and software: ProgDVB
I get this error message:

From my TV I know I have a good DVB-T signal in the same spot.

Any ideas?

one way would be to try using Windows Media Center (especially in Windows 7, where most drivers(even generic ones) can be found via windows update)

try removing the drivers and reinstall, then plug it in another USB port...

I'm running Windows XP SP3. I don't think I can add Media Center without reinstalling.

I tried removing driver and installing in another USB port but that did not help.

Thanks for your suggestion by the way.

Sorry Saimen, but I have no idea where I've kept them.

I found them through Google. Shouldn't be too hard to find them.

This device usually gets detected as ce9500 but the ce6230 driver works best. Cancel any lookup, windows update for this device when asked and install the drivers from the attachment. GBPVR has great support for dvb-t usb sticks and the software is free.
